Individual Spooky White Pizzas
What you
need:
- One 1-pound ball prepared pizza dough
- All-purpose flour, for rolling the dough
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, finely grated
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan
- 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella (about 6 ounces)
- 4 pitted black olives, ends trimmed and each cut into 3 rounds
What to
do:
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
Divide
the pizza dough into 4 pieces. Working with one piece of dough at a time, roll
and stretch on a lightly floured surface into an 8- to 9-inch oval. Transfer to
a prepared baking sheet and pull the end of the dough to one side into a
tapered end to create a ghost shape. Repeat with the remaining dough, putting 2
ghosts on each baking sheet. Don't worry if they all look slightly different--
it will give the ghosts personality. Mix the oil and garlic together in a small bowl and evenly brush over the 4 ghosts; sprinkle with a total of 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Bake until the crusts are golden and set, 10 to 12 minutes, rotating the pans top to bottom halfway through the baking time.
Mix the ricotta, Parmesan and Italian seasoning together in a small bowl and spread over the ghosts, stopping about 1/2-inch from the edge. Sprinkle with the mozzarella and return to the oven until the ghosts are hot and the cheese has melted, about 5 minutes more. Place 2 pieces of olive on each ghost for the eyes and1 piece on each for a mouth.
Transfer the ghosts to individual plates and serve.

Creepy
Carrot Fingers with Ranch Dressing
Super creepy and super easy!
What you need:
- 1 bag peeled baby carrots
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- Cream cheese
- Bottled ranch dressing
What to do:
Place a bit of
cream cheese on the end of a baby carrot and place an almond slice face down on
top. The almond should look like a fingernail on the carrot "finger".
Repeat until all carrots are finished.
Pour dressing in
a bowl and stand a few carrot fingers upright in the bowl. Place the bowl on a
platter and lay the remaining carrot fingers around the bowl.
3.
R.I.P Cake
What you need:
- 8-inch square baked chocolate cake (from mix or scratch)
- Store bought chocolate icing
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- Green food coloring
- White chocolate bar
- Black icing (can also use semisweet chocolate morsels, melted in microwave)
What to do:
Coat cake with
chocolate icing. Combine coconut and
enough green food
coloring to make green "grass".
Break the white
chocolate bar into squares for tombstones. Break off a few with jagged edges to
look like old stones.
Place black icing
or melted chocolate into a plastic zip-tip bag and cut a tiny hole in the
corner. Pipe 'RIP' onto the chocolate squares. Allow to dry. (You can place
them in the refrigerator for a few minutes for a quick dry.)
4.
Dirty Worms
What you need:
- 8 hot dogs, sliced lengthwise into 1/2-inch-thick strips
- 2 can(s) (15 ounces each) black beans, drained and chopped
What to do:
Bring
a large pot of water to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to a simmer; add hot
dogs and simmer until they begin to curl; drain.
Place
black beans in a serving bowl and top with curled hot dogs, gently tucking them
into the beans to give the appearance of worms in dirt; serve immediately.
5.
Mummy Dogs
Transform hot dogs into creepy mummies using
crescent dinner rolls
What you need:
1 can (8 oz)
Pillsbury® refrigerated crescent dinner rolls or 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury®
Crescent Recipe Creations® refrigerated seamless dough sheet
2 1/2 slices
American cheese, quartered (2.5 oz)
10 large hot dogs
Cooking spray
Mustard or
ketchup, if desired
What to do:
Heat oven to
375°F.
If using crescent rolls: Unroll dough;
separate at perforations, creating 4 rectangles. Press perforations to seal. If
using dough sheet: Unroll dough; cut into 4 rectangles.
With knife or kitchen scissors, cut each
rectangle lengthwise into 10 pieces, making a total of 40 pieces of dough.
Slice cheese slices into quarters (1/2 slice cheese, cut in half).
Wrap 4 pieces of dough around each hot dog and
1/4 slice of cheese to look like "bandages," stretching dough
slightly to completely cover hot dog. About 1/2 inch from one end of each hot
dog, separate "bandages" so hot dog shows through for
"face." On ungreased large cookie sheet, place wrapped hot dogs
(cheese side down); spray dough lightly with cooking spray.
Bake 13 to 17 minutes or until dough is light
golden brown and hot dogs are hot. With mustard, draw features on
"face."

1 black licorice
wheel
1/4 cup (2 oz)
melon-flavored liqueur
1/4 cup (2 oz)
lemon-lime carbonated beverage
Ice

glass.
