Colorado

Today we are headed to our last destination, which is the state of Colorado. Even though this is our last state related food post, this is not our last post. Please stay tune for a Special Thanksgiving food post coming out tomorrow and some Thanksgiving leftovers recipes coming out next week.

Anyways, back to our recipe. I actually made this “Denver Omelet” for breakfast this morning. This is perfect for those lazy mornings when you don’t have much time to make breakfast but you don’t want to skip this meal since breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It probably took me about 10-15 minutes total time to prep and cook this. It is so easy and quick to make. Hope you all enjoy this easy recipe!

Ingredients:
2 eggs, beaten
¼ cup green bell pepper, diced
¼ cup onion, diced
½ oz. ham, diced

To begin, beat the two eggs. Then I diced some green bell pepper, onion, and ham. Place the green bell pepper, onion, and ham on a nonstick skillet. Turn the heat on high. Stir frequently and let cook it for about two minutes. Then quickly pour in the eggs and turn heat to the low. Slide your pan back and forth to make sure the eggs are cooked. Run spatula under edge of omelet and fold it in half. Turn off the heat and place omelet on a plate. On the side, you can add some fruit for a little bit of sweetness. Enjoy!
